Peter Kispert is a book editor and the author of the debut story collection I Know You Know Who I Am (Penguin Books, 2020), an Elle Magazine Best Book of the Year and O, The Oprah Magazine Best LGBT Book of the Year. The collection has been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and The TODAY Show, and in the New York Times. His writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Story, GQ, Esquire, The New York Times Book Review, Sewanee Review, and elsewhere.
Peter is an Associate Editor at William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Prior to joining Morrow, he was an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing in UCF’s MFA program, and he’s served as Editor-in-Chief of both The Florida Review and Indiana Review.
